Interlibrary loans
If books or other materials are not available for loan from Södertörn University library you can order an Interlibrary loan (ILL). You can also order copies of chapters from books and copies of articles. To order an Interlibrary loan you will need a library card.

If you are unable to find what you are looking for in the library, and the materials are not available electronically, you can order an Interlibrary loan. Interlibrary loans can be made for both books and journals. Materials being ordered must be for the purpose of research. Interlibrary loans take approximately one week to arrive. The library will e-mail you when the materials are ready for collection. Articles are sent to your home address. If you are a member of staff at the university Interlibrary loans will be sent to your room on arrival. If you are ordering an article please check first in the list of journals to see if an electronic version of the journal is available.
The following applies to both students and private individuals: If the book is at a library in the Stockholm area you must organise collection of the book yourself. You can see which library in the Stockholm area the book is at by using the Stockholm libraries search.
Your Interlibrary loan orders can be found in "Your loans and reservations" on the library website. Log in and your order should appear as soon as the oreder has been placed.
Prices for interlibrary loans
Interlibrary loans within the Nordic Region (Denmark, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden) are free of charge. Loans from outside of the Nordic Region cost 150 sek. Copies of journal articles cost 50 sek per article. All costs are debited from your library card (Sh-card) and must be paid for at the Information desk in the library.
