Book a group study room
Only Södertörn University students can book to use the group study rooms. Use your Sh-card to enter the room. If a booked room is not in use after thirty minutes it can be used by another group.
In the library we have ten group study rooms which can be booked. Four of the group rooms are equipped with a computer and have a large display monitor on the wall.

Please remember that all students with an Sh-card can open the group study rooms. Do not leave valuables unattended.
Scanning in the library
In UB 518 there are two scanners which students can use.There is no booking schedule for these, but is primarily for those who need to scan. Students log in with their credentials. Others can borrow a guest account in the library's information desk. You will find more information and instructions beside the scanners.
The Media Room (UB 635)
In the Media Room (Medierummet) you can watch television, films and other audio-visual materials borrowed from the National Library of Sweden (KB).
The media room has space for twelve people and can be booked by students and staff at Södertörn University wanting to use audio-visual equipment to view, for instance, SLBA-materials (Sweden's picture and sound archive). The media room can also be booked by members of the public wanting to view SLBA-materials. If the media room is to be used for teaching it must be booked by a school secretary. Bookings must be made at least two days in advance. If you need help with the equipment in the room, please mention it when making the booking. Booking confirmation is sent via e-mail and should be shown at the Information desk in the library when collecting the room keycard. Confirmation of bookings made by students are also sent to their teachers.
Microfilm room (UB 628)
The Microfilm Room, UB 628, is on the 6th floor of the library. The room is for those of you who need to view microfilm which they have brought or view something in the library's own collection. We have, among others, microfilm of Dagens Nyheter from 1945 onwards. The microfilm room can not be booked. If you need help with the microfilm reader, contact biblioteket@sh.se at least two days in advance. Library staff will open the door.
